Florida Prairie News: Inclusive Opportunities
The substantial health benefits of regular physical activity are well documented and actively promoted among the general population. Historically, people with disabilities have not been included in these efforts to increase physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles.

Yet, more than 50 million individuals with disabilities in the United States face even far greater health risks associated with sedentary lifestyles. Even if they want to exercise, participate in sports, go to a gym, or just enjoy the outdoors, they often confront barriers to participation.

I empathize with this and I'm on a mission to share my secret retreat spot of magnificent 300 year old giant oak tree hammock hidden in the remote northwest corner of beautiful Okeechobee County, Florida.

With this very private, exclusive and uniquely effective place, I would love to continue to volunteer to help vets especially if they are suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. I can educate people and show them how to tap and channel the healing power of Mother Nature, regain and maintain positive balance in real life, invigorate the body, mind and soul.

I am committed to share my private land and personal knowledge.
